The Inertia

If you’re old enough, you’ll remember when Jack Robinson began to make waves in the surfing world. He was just a little kid with a funny haircut who charged giant Western Australian waves with a mentality and talent far beyond his years. It seemed clear, even way back then, that Robbo was going places, and places he went.

Now, Jack is grown. He’s a family man. He got a haircut (although it’s getting close to that bowl cut again). But one thing remains the same: he charges. With the WSL smack in the middle of the Aussie Treble, Robinson is right at home, and he recently released a look behind the curtain of his life on tour. Or, as he called it, “everything that goes between competing and family moments!”

Being a pro surfer would be hard — all that travel would be exhausting after a few years — but not so hard that it’s not a great way to live. Between surfing, interviews, work outs, and everything else, Jack manages to squeeze in a pile of fun while he’s at work.
