Oahu’s North Shore has a lot of really good waves. Seven miles of miraculousness, known the world over. And of all those gems, Rocky Point is one of the shiniest. It’s a little more user friendly than wave like Pipeline or Waimea; a little easier to handle than an outer reef or giant Sunset. When it’s on, it’s unbelievably fun, and since it’s unbelievably fun, when it’s on a lot of the best surfers on the North Shore can be found there. Off Da Lip, a YouTube channel that’s North Shore-centric, recently pointed their cameras at the wave and captured a whole bunch — John John Florence included — of them doing what they do best.
