The Inertia

December 10th, 2014. This was an extremely busy day at Jaws. The waves were absolutely firing all day. The wind was light and the sun hid behind the clouds for no more than 30 seconds all day. Most importantly, the surfers were charging. You could feel the energy in the air as mountainous sets pelted the beautiful north shore of Maui. Up at the cliffs a media frenzy was buzzing as surfers came in to tell their stories. Some were about big drops and glorious barrels, and others were about broken boards and near-death experiences. From world-renowned professionals to local chargers, there was no shortage of memorable rides this day at Peahi.
