Kanoa Igarashi has a whole new level of visibility now. Flying under the radar is no longer a possibility now that he’s on the ‘CT, and an equal ninth to open up his rookie season on tour isn’t a bad way to start. So it’s no wonder the guy stands out in a crowd, especially on a small day. No frantically pumping down the line and violently hacking at a crumbling lip. Just clean, effortless cruising down the line with some smooth turns to make it all look so, so easy.
We’re definitely keeping an eye on this kid in 2016.
