Few places in the world are more crowded than the Gold Coast of Australia. Maybe it’s the fact the place is riddled with waves so mechanical, so picture perfect, they rival the lineups you used to draw in your notebook in high school. For guys like Kelly Slater, Mick Fanning, Mikey Wright, and Asher Pacey, the crowd offers little deterrence. Hell, don’t lie. You’d be out there, too if you could!
