Kelly Slater is going to be a father again. Slater, 54, and longtime partner Kalani Miller, 38, announced the development via Instagram on Sunday. “Baby girl arriving Spring 2026,” read the caption to a black and white video of Slater, Miller and their first son, Tao.
This will be the second child for the couple. Their first was heralded by a similar announcement on Instagram, then born in the summer of 2024. Since then, the pair has remained understandably guarded about their son’s privacy, opting to obscure the boy’s face in social media posts and waiting nearly a year to even reveal his name.
That was not Kelly’s first brush with fatherhood, though. His daughter from a previous relationship, Taylor Slater-Kelleher, was born in 1996.
