You wouldn’t like him when he’s angry. And Kelly Slater’s pissed. He said so on the podium after winning the 2013 Pipe Masters when asked if he was coming back for 2014.
Whether or not Mick Fanning should’ve won the title wasn’t something Kelly had any say in. What is in Slater’s control is how he does this year and whether or not he can win his 12th title – an accomplishment that may put him into retirement. Then again, who knows. 13 sounds way better than 12.
