Koa Smith is a marketable guy, isn’t he? Tanned, handsome, fit, happy, nice, and a great surfer to boot. In recent times, while the industry is shifting gear, many surfers are losing their contracts, and the World Surf League is filling out a now-empty schedule with different forms of entertainment, Koa landed a gig that suits him down to the ground: product tester. In Unboxing Things With Koa Smith, Koa… well, Koa unboxes things.
In the most recent installment, Koa unboxes an RC Surfer, which, even for the crustiest of old locals, looks like more fun than just about anything other than surfing. After he manages to break the poor little guy’s leg, he goes on to unbox an enormous foil, which for most crusty locals, looks like less fun than just about anything. But those guys aren’t in it for the fun.
