Groms being signed to big boy contracts isn’t stop-the-press news in and of itself, but when it’s a legend’s son, it makes for a lil’ nostalgia and intrigue — and, occasionally, an awesome edit welcoming the kid to the team. So when we heard that Jay Occhilupo put pen to paper with Billabong, with his father and 1999 World Champion Mark looking over the rippers shoulder (as they sign in the “Occy” room to boot), we figured it was worth a look. The welcome video does not disappoint.
