It\'s the perfect way to express individual personality, and especially your mood that day. $This moment reminds me of one of the most challenging and incredible situations I have ever found myself in. I went on a boat trip on the Indies Trader with the legendary captain Martin Daly. Our mission was simple: to find new waves in the Pacific Ocean. We sailed for two months around the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands. I was the only longboarder on board, and the log I\'m riding here was the only board that lasted (I broke two high performance longboards). I was kinda scared to paddle out with my last board, but we found this perfect reef break running sharp with no one out, and the only thing on my mind was to paddle out. Photo: Fellipe Ditadi$

Kingscliff Beach in Australia. This was taken during my warm-up session before the contest at the Australian Longboard Surfing Open, the first event in the World Longboard Qualifying Series in 2016. I happily came home with the win, celebrating such a great trip to Australia. Nowadays, with the evolution of material and shapes in the surfboard industry, we can have lighter longboards like never before, and it allows the surfer to perform beyond the expectations of riding a longboard. While longboarding will always have its traditional roots, the new ages show that classic style can be mixed with some tail surfing, making the surfer use the entire length of the board. $At Macumba Beach in Rio de Janeiro. This is one of my favorite moves—the drop knee turn. Switching your front knee to change the direction on a wave. I grew up surfing beach breaks, and Macumba Beach is one of the most iconic longboard spots in Brazil. It\'s still my favorite spot to surf. Even though it\'s a mellow wave, it\'s the best in town for a log, kinda bumpy and with some tricky sections. It ain\'t a wave to ride a the heavy single fins like in California, so I have to adapt my traditional single fins for this kind of wave. Photo: Fellipe Ditadi$

Longboarding is something that amazes me every time I paddle out. It’s so versatile. It lets you do whatever you want on a wave. From hanging ten to getting barreled to just trimming a wave, it’s freedom to me. It’s such a pleasant way to have fun. I will try to show you guys my world, which involves, first of all, enjoying every moment, chasing a world title, and trying to inspire everyone to go out there and dance on a wave.
