It took a while for Los Angeles to get in on the 2019-2020 winter, but last week finally gave surfers some head-high surf (and bigger). Being the first real swell of the winter and no sand movement quite yet, the shape wasn’t all that great, but hopefully, this run of swell moved it all around and set us up for the next one.
This is a compilation of the good waves, the ones that were almost all-time, and the ones with people getting flat-out pounded around the South Bay. Surfers include Hudson Ritchie, Parker Browning, Luca Luhrsen, Kyle Brown, Tucker O’Shia and others.
