To many, Ross Williams is just a familiar face seen alongside guys like Strider, Pottz, and Turpel in the commentator booth. But before Ross Williams became a WSL commentator (a job The Inertia believes he is very good at), Ross was competing on the World Tour and giving guys like Kelly Slater, Kalani Robb, Shane Dorian, and Rob Machado (The Momentum Generation) a run for their money. Today we honor Ross for both his contribution to surfing and this insane man-turn (at the 18:10 minute marker) laid down in one of surfing’s most iconic surf films: Loose Change by Taylor Steele.
