The seasons may turn, but some things stay the same. With the end of the winter season, the eye of the surfing world has begun to stray from the shores of Hawai’i, but local die-hards are still making the most of spring waves. The latest to do so was Mason Ho, who just published a punchy edit of a Rocky Point session.
Mason was joined by his sister Coco, father Michael and lifelong friend Baby Bear. Owing to the time of year, some of the surf on tap was more fun-sized than terror-inducing, but there were still more than a few bombs to be had.
As always, the edit was accompanied by samples from Mason’s eclectic and inimitable music collection, and a breakdown of the boards he was riding – a pair of psychedelic-colored …Lost craft that received an absolute beating at the hands of Mason’s “safety last” stylings.
