Mason Ho is oddly comfortable in waves that he shouldn’t be comfortable surfing. Waves with sharp rocks beneath them. Waves that aren’t really even waves. Waves that (probably) no one else could surf the way Mason Ho does. Take, for example, the video you see above. Those are not waves most people would look at and say, “yes, I will surf that.” But Mason, in his ultimate wisdom and with his ultimate skill, surfs that.
Fernando de Noronha, Brazil isn’t exactly well-known to surfers. It’s an archipelago off the northeastern coast of Brazil, and it is one of the most stunningly beautiful places in the world.
