Mason Ho surfs a little differently than most. He is very familiar with a whole lot of waves around the world. While most people look to the top of the point, Mason’s always scanning for new (and unique) places to surf. “If you can see it you can surf it” seems to be his mentality, rocks, reef, and other deterrents be damned. Take, for example, his approach at Uluwatu.
There is a little wave that runs along the cliffside there, but it’s not one that most people flock to. Mason, however, decided to show Sheldon Paishon just how fun it can be. The take off zone looks fine enough, but as the wave makes its way towards the cliff, things get decidedly more sketchy. No matter for Mason and Sheldon, though — they’re only worried about making sure they have as much fun as they possibly can.
