These days, people will surf on anything. Surfing isn’t just for a surfboard, after all. Surfing is just the act of riding a wave. Choice of equipment is up to the surfer. Fred David and Toby Cunningham chose a piece of equipment that’s a little more unusual for a session at playful Nazaré, but hey, to each their own. This isn’t David’s first go-around with a sumo suit. Back in 2016, he put in a few hours at Hossegor in the same get-up. By the looks of it, he’s getting it dialed.
