To the uninitiated here in the States, the nation of Portugal may be little more than Supertubos and Nazaré clips. But, as anyone who’s had the pleasure can attest, Portugal’s over 516 miles of coastline boasts some pretty primo setups when conditions properly align.
Above, Portugal native and big wave hellman Nic Von Rupp takes us on a virtual tour through some of the seaside nation’s finest sand-bottom points. And damn if it doesn’t look pretty idyllic. Particularly the little left wedgy number breaking off the rocky cliffside. Yes, please!
