We’d be lying if we said a little of what Nick Melanson scored above doesn’t sound good right about now. On any given day, Doheny may be a bonafide maelstrom of groms, beginners, foam, fiberglass, and a handful of south Orange County’s best longboarders. Melanson comes from the latter stock and despite Doho’s reputation, he finds himself a little slice of warm-water perfection in the midst of the chaos. Save one little hiccup around the 1:40 mark.
