The Inertia

Every now and then a short film graces the Internet with an inspirational piece of goose bump-inducing-gold that inspires us to get off our asses and stop making excuses. We’re all guilty of it: “My alarm didn’t go off,” “The water is too cold,” “I think it’s gonna get better when the tide drops.”  The truth is, nobody cares to hear excuses and we ultimately end up feeling like lazy shitheads for not paddling out.

Luke Pibeam’s Out of the Black and into the Blue is a creative masterpiece that blends the perfect amount of inspirational words of wisdom with the striking aesthetics of our beautiful ocean. Most importantly, the film serves as a simple reminder that life should be lived to the fullest in order to reach our richest potential – no matter who you are.

“This is not the life for the takers. Not anymore. It’s much simpler than that. It must be said that for every man with a vision, it’s not how far you can see. It’s how far you can allow yourself to imagine that will ultimately define your boundaries.”
