Back in June, Western Australia started preparing for what some were calling “the swell of the decade.” Of course, that’s a pretty hard standard to live up to, especially in a place like Western Australia. And while it may not have been the best in 10 years, it was good enough to get a few frothers like Dave Winchester, Taj Burrow, Jack Robinson, Ryan Hardy, and Jake Stone–to name–out to North Point and very, very excited.
