Over the weekend, the 19th annual Burleigh Boardriders Single Fin Festival went down with fun, rippable waves. The likes of Occy, Rasta, Creed McTaggart and many more tried their hand at the old school shapes at 2-3 foot Burleigh Heads. The event also featured live music and all around good vibes for everyone in attendance.
Although it’s no serious contest by any means, there were winners by the end of the weekend-long event. In perhaps one of the only times you’ll see Creed McTaggart sporting a jersey, the young gun took home the top honors in the Opens Final. He imbued his aggressive modern style on the old designs like waves seen at the 1:45 mark. And in an Instagram post he appeared pretty stoked (maybe we’ll see more of him in contests?).
