In terms of surf, November was a bit of a let down. It was pretty terrible, actually. The complete lack of notable swell in the region had many people questioning whether El Niño was ever going to show up. After what felt like an eternity, he showed up fashionably late, but in fine form. And with plenty of surf comes plenty of carnage—especially when surfers weren’t surfing much prior to this recent pulse of strong swell.
