Somewhere around ten years ago, Rob Machado created a board called the Biscuit. It was the start of a journey, of sorts. And now, it looks like that journey might have ended with his newest shape, the Glazer.
Last month, the coronavirus bans that were in place in San Diego were lifted, but only partially. While the beaches were open for exercise (and surfing), the parking lots were closed. Because of that, Rob could no longer take his famous van down, so he charged up his electric bike, strapped a trailer to the back, and tied on three surfboards of his own design. The Helium Seaside, the LFT Seaside and Beyond, and his newest, the LFT Glazer. And then he proceeded to test them out.
You might think it odd that Rob Machado has gone back to his thruster roots with the Glazer model, and you would be forgiven. He has, after all, been pushing quads and twins for quite some time now, but hey, just because you like one thing doesn’t mean you can’t like another. Variety and spice, right?
