Sam Bleakley is a travel writer, video presenter, and surfer. He’s very good at what he does. Bleakley, who grew up in Cornwall, learned to surf when he was five. Inspired by people like Joel Tudor, surfing soon became a major force in his life. So much so, in fact, that he became the face of a show called Brilliant Corners, which takes him all over the planet in search of waves and much more important things. In this episode, Sam begins his journey through Madagascar in the nation’s capital, Antananarivo. There, he meets a few friends from home, James Parry and Mike Lay. Together, the three set out on a 900-kilometer road trip to explore the vast country on their way to discover the swell of the trip.
