The end of a year and the beginning of another might result in some serious introspection. If you’re a traveling surfer – especially if you happen to be traveling during New Year’s – you may ask yourself why you do it, why you sacrifice everything in pursuit of stoke. Getting skunked on said trip may be a moment for reevaluation. A sign from above. Scoring on the other hand apparently means the exact opposite. That you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.
