The Inertia

According to reports out of New Jersey this week, Brant Beach on Long Beach Island was cleared when safety personal realized there were sharks in the water, just before the above video was captured by a staffer at a nearby bait and tackle shop. Officials weren’t able to identify the shark species as they couldn’t find any remnants of the dolphin. As small, summer waves roll into shore, the sharks can be seen attacking the dolphin with blood in the water. While the two instances aren’t believed to be related, a 13-foot great white was pinged off the Jersey Shore earlier in the week. You can read more, here.
