After a two year hiatus, Shred Show is back. On the newest installment, Dan Mann, the designer behind the board you see in the video, Slater Designs No Brainer, sat down with The Wire Podcast’s Chris Grow.

Grow, who started Shred Show a few years back, amassed a following of over 26,000 subscribers interested in all things surf. He has a “wealth of knowledge about design and board functionality, stage presence and energy, and great enunciation,” all of which helped Firewire sit up and take notice. And from there, the Wire Podcast came to life. But die-hard fans of Shred Show were a little sad when the show stopped. Now, the comments below the video are just as good as the content in the video.

“Dude, don’t ever leave us again like that,” wrote one. “So you’re just going to pretend like you didn’t break up with us?” asked another. “Yeah, it’s weird when dad goes out to buy cigarettes and mysteriously returns years later like nothing happened,” wrote one more.

In the newest episode, Mann and Grow sit down in front of a screen to watch Timmy Reyes and Brent Reilly take the No Brainer through its paces.
