If this is what a Year Alone gets you, then we’re all for it. Peace and solitude and fun sets rolling in with only couple others — one of them being a bikini on a ski — around? Seems perfect. But for Slade Prestwich, with the way he is ripping at the tender age of 18, it might be one of the last opportunities to be completely alone for the next half dozen or so years. Surely he’ll be joining local legend Jordy Smith on the tour sooner rather than later.
How do his fellow South Africans feel about this teenager? From the looks of it, quite good.
