Ah, spring. The time when a young man’s fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love. The doldrums of winter are slowly falling by the wayside as the sun moves closer to the earth, warming the sodden ground, and perfuming the air with the scent of new growth. The water warms, the birds begin to sing, and all is right with the world. Especially in Southern California, where one of the worst winters—wave-wise, at least—is finally coming to an end. Jack Coleman pointed his camera at Levi Prairie and Jobin Bookout while they celebrated the changing of the seasons.
