Drama: it’s for men too. During the Australian Open of Surfing at Manly Beach, Channel V host Danny Clayton from Australia called out Kolohe Andino on live television, telling him to “stay the f*ck away from my girlfriend,” and accused him of sending offensive text messages to Zoe Cross.

“When I first saw it I was pretty bummed,” Kolohe told KIIS 106.5 FM. “It really questioned my character and it was completely blown out of proportion. I don’t want people thinking I was raised wrong and thinking I was creeping out a girl. I don’t look at myself in the mirror and say I’m a threat to guys’ girlfriends. It sounds like he just might have blacked out and said something he didn’t mean.”

Danny Clayton has yet to comment about the incident, but you can’t deny how funny it was when he maintained his professional TV host tone while calling out Kolohe. Zoe’s only public commentary on the subject has been via her Facebook, where she supplemented a link to the video with a callous “LOL.” As far as Kolohe is concerned, he shouldn’t feel “bummed.” Kolohe looked sharp as a tack down at the Australian Open and his performance thus far suggests he is going to have a killer year.
