If you’re put off by the term “style master,” don’t be. Alex Knost has the stuff in spades and there may be no better way to term his fluency on the wave face. Here, Alex flows through a local Southern California break with ease on what you might call an unorthodox shape. No matter, as he has his way with these clean barrels throwing in hard cutbacks and effortless floaters for a little diversity. If these waves are any indication (we sure hope so), this could be a fun season ahead in SoCal.
