Sunny Garcia, Hawaiian heavyweight, former world champ, and winner of numerous Triple Crowns was taken to hospital last night after a head on collision with another driver. “Pretty sore right now thanks to a guy speeding and texting while driving hitting me head on,” he wrote on Instagram, “but I’m living so can’t complain:).”
Despite the date of the accident, Garcia made it clear it wasn’t an April Fool’s Day Joke. “#couldbeworst #noitsnotajoke #luckytobealive #fucktextingwhiledriving,” he continued.
Although Sunny is pictured in a neck brace and with an IV, initial reports are that it wasn’t a serious accident. Right now, it looks as though he will make a full recovery.
