If there are three things in the surf world that get core surfers (whatever core means) upset, they’re stand-up paddling, hydro foiling, and Laird Hamilton. Of course, Laird (and Kai Lenny!) does both (at the same time!) and doesn’t give a shit if anyone hates him for it because he’s (they) are far more talented surfers than the rest of us. They’re doing it because they are having more fun doing it, and the core surfers are choking with rage while having less fun.
