The Inertia

Brother and Lowers have always gone together like peanut butter and jelly. Watching a young Kolohe Andino destroy Trestles is exactly what made him one of the most hyped phenoms in the history of surfing, landing the San Clemente kid on the World Tour long before he was even legal drinking age in the states.

So what better way to throw back with the WSL headed to Southern California for its 8th stop of 2015 than to revisit just how damn good little Kolohe was/is on that wave? Things haven’t exactly gone as planned for the regular foot in his three (currently in his fourth) years on tour. He has yet to make it out of the 3rd round in a CT event in 2015, and when the Oakley Lower’s Pro took over Trestles back in April for the QS’ 9th event of the year Andino was bounced in round 2. Point is, Kolohe at Lowers isn’t exactly automatic. But flashing back with this video we do know he’ll at least look good as ever doing it.
