Bali is one of the most incredible places on earth. The waves are almost beyond belief, the culture is wonderful, and the people are friendly. Of course, it’s in the process of being ruined by our gluttonous need for plastic, but that’s a whole different story. Let’s concentrate on the good for now.
Jacopo Cecchini is an Italian photographer and filmmaker who moved to Bali to make films. In the one above, he enlisted the surfing talents of Davide Lopez. Together, they traveled around Bali for ten days, looking to score the waves they knew the island paradise was capable of producing. It wasn’t as easy as they thought, but after a week of surfing, things finally turned on.
