Sometimes in life, things just don’t go your way. You can try as hard you like, but there are forces at work that simply won’t let you win. Sure, you can do your best to prepare for whatever life throws at you, but every now and then, bad things are unavoidable. Much like the predicament this stand up paddler found himself in.
Yes, he could have put himself in a better position a little bit earlier. Yes, he could have timed his approach a little better. And yes, he definitely could have ditched AWAY from the surfer… but sometimes, shit happens. Thankfully, someone filmed it. And thankfully, it found its way onto @kookoftheday.
