Hobbies, loved ones and work have been subordinated over the past several weeks in Hawaii as the North Pacific pumped out swells like babies were in the ‘80s and ’90s in America. As great as this may sound, the video shows the double-edged sword associated with back-to-back, pumping swells. On one side of the spectrum surfers are scoring the best waves of their lives while others are being sent to the hospital.
