Mother Nature has a serious temper. A fiery one, at that. And no where has it been more obvious than the recent weeks on Australia’s east coast, where she showed the incredibly beautiful violence she’s capable of.
It was a strange weather pattern that caused the massive waves. Along with king tides, the storm battered the northern beaches and causes millions in damages. Despite that, it proved to be one of the most incredible runs of swell for surfers in decades.
