With a solid south/south west combo swell, Labor Day weekend provided the perfect warm up scenario for the 2015 Lowers Pro. All weekend long, the lineup was like an all-star free surf session as the world’s best took San Clemente by storm. And among the greats was the elite Channel Islands team. Nat Young perfected his backhand on the rights. Adriano de Souza threw buckets with his man hacks. And of course, longtime CI rider Mr. Slater did not disappoint. On the ladies side, event wildcard Bethany Hamilton showed how she would undoubtedly be a force to be reckoned with. But practice time is over as the event is now underway!
