There are some days when seriousness and surf etiquette should be thrown out the window and traded for a day of silliness and laughter with good friends. Those days usually involve warm weather, small surf (unless you’re Jamie O’Brien), and bright, colorful soft tops. The good folks over at Catch Surf and Swell put together this super, super serious contest to get in the holiday spirit and have some good ol’ fashioned fun.
Judging from the video, the 2015 Partywave Sweater Invitational looked like an absolute blast. Taking top honors this year was Huntington Beach’s Bryan Van Arsdale, who received a super sweet champagne bath for his valiant efforts. Congrats, Bryan!
