Remember the ’80s? Ah, what a decade. Things were neon, lights were bright, and the technology of the future was all flying cars, sweet helmets, and even sweeter one-piece jumpsuits. We colonized Mars! We went to the future and back again! There were aliens and laser guns and oh, how glorious it all was.
Now, of course, we get stupid, boring movies, full of realistic effects and dialogue. But wait! For all you nostalgic types out there yearning for the ’80s, there’s the Hydrofly Show. Featuring Italian champions (yes, there are champions of waterbooting) Cristiano Perseu and Andrea Salamina, it is a watery mashup of Tron and La Bayadere, complete with backflips (so many!), neon lights and lightup one-piece spandex. Is there anything more ridiculously wonderful?
