Features are bigger, bolder, and easier to read. News is more keenly separated from those features so you can get to our quick-hitting pieces faster. And the stuff we’re really proud of? Well, those will stay more visible so you can find them, or even re-read if you like.
Oh, and about who we are. The Inertia remains one of the leading voices in surf and mountain culture, a publication we’re proud to say digs deeper to find real stories about the lifestyle we all love. New voices? Always welcome, and we’re working to find them. Essays about the art of play? Yes, thank you. Profiles of legends and people you need to know from the world of ocean and mountain sport? All about it. Shred edits to keep you stoked on riding waves and pow? We’re always trying to provide more. Deep-dive features on current issues? That’s our bread and butter.
The Inertia remains the site of the every surfer, the every snowboarder. The average Joe and Jane working to play. We’re here to provide the inspiration and knowledge you need to carry on doing the things you love outside.
