In San Sebastian, there’s a really, really great event. It’s called The Single Fin Classic, and instead of competition, it’s just about surfing, talking, drinking beer, and surfing more.
The second annual Single Fin Classic was held at Zurriola Beach, and there were plenty of waves to go around. The event brings together some of the best longboarders in Europe and local surfers, and to finish off the day, 120 people all sit down to eat dinner together. The Single Fin Classic might just be the greatest indicator that the surfing tribe actually exists.
