I spent the most part of last year chasing waves and good times with a bunch of mates, new and old. I could waffle on for a few paragraphs here about where we went and how many waves we scored, but I’d rather let the photos do the talking. Leaving questions unanswered and letting the surf trip vibe they give have its way with the everyday Joe, rousing desire for fresh adventures, uncrowded waves and leaving that all-too-comfortable office chair and getting on the next flight to nowhere.
I’m a 23-year-old ocean enthusiast from midwest Western Australia. Growing up on a farm, I’ve always loved the beach and took any opportunity to get there whenever I could, for as long as I could. Since those those days, I’ve spent more time in and around the ocean than I would have ever thought was possible back then. Surfing, bodysurfing, bodyboarding, spearfishing; right craft for the right occasion is something I try to live by. Photography for me properly started about two years ago when I purchased a water housing, opening my eyes to a whole new world both in and out of the water, particularly when traveling to new places. Personally, I find that photography can be just as rewarding as riding or being in the thick of things–capturing a moment that someone else is super stoked on is an epic feeling and something that I hope to continue to pursue for some time to come.
