The Inertia

You’re well aware of Scotland’s primary accomplishments. Whiskey. Gorgeous golf courses. William Wallace. But you probably didn’t know that the UK’s northernmost country is also home to perfect, reeling point breaks. You probably also didn’t know that Scotland’s national animal is the unicorn (look it up).

But back to the first Scottish fun fact of the day. With a rugged coastline wedged in the middle of the North Sea, Scotland offers a variety of waves. And as shown in a new clip from Scottish surfer Oli Adams, those waves are damn good. Oli reaps the rewards of both a reeling right-hander and a left, too. And the water is a pristine shade of blue, although it’s likely numbingly cold. More reason to have a post surf whiskey to warm you up!
