The Inertia

Quarantine is weird, right? Or sheltering in place. Or stay at home orders. Or lockdown. Whatever you’re calling it, staying home ALL. THE. TIME is a trip. You’re probably in one of the two camps — you may be in the middle, but if you are, you’re likely in the minority — either getting in the best shape of your life, doing pushups and situps and jumping rope all day long, or sitting on your couch, slowly turning into a gelatinous blob made almost entirely of cheese.

The Smith brothers, eccentric in the best of times, are going a little stir crazy. They, of course, are not taking the gelatinous-blob-made-entirely-of-cheese route. They’re cleaning and Facetiming and puzzling and reading. And yes, they’re rapping. Here’s a quarantine rap by the next big thing: Koa Smith, a.k.a Hawaiian Lava.
