The premier U.S. event on the Championship Tour is on! And 11-time world champ Kelly Slater gets things started at the Surf Ranch Pro at 7:38 a.m. Heats run throughout the day and into the night, with the repechage heats running from 8:30 p.m. until well into the night. Fourth place finishers in the opening round are automatically eliminated. The Inertia is at the event so look for updates throughout the day.
