There are better waves than The Wedge and there are bigger waves than The Wedge, but there are few that can best it in terms of sheer insanity. Heavy, shallow, and nearly unrideable, the Orange County spot holds a special place in the pantheon of surf breaks: America’s most dangerous novelty wave.
Of course, that means that it attracts crazy people like bees to honey, and BEEFS T.V. is consistently there to capture it all.
The latest video from the Southern California mainstay is a best-of, of sorts. The compilation of favorite footage from 2025 (so far), features an eclectic collection of sandbar slabs, glassy waves, skimboarding, boogie boarding, and a lot more. However, as always, the star of the show is The Wedge.
Though they can never truly tame the wild beast, Beefs’ rogue’s gallery of regulars, including Kalani Robb and Blair Conklin, do a bang-up job showing that novelty and sheer destructive force really can go hand-in-hand. Check out the full video below.
