Southern California surfers finally received some respite this week after what many are calling the worst winter in years. A solid pulse of groundswell meant plenty to pick off up and down the coast, but most notably awakened the sleeping giant that is the Wedge.
Plenty of snapped boards here. We’re hoping no snapped necks. And generally plenty of carnage between bodyboarders and surfers alike. If this is any indication of what’s to come this summer, it’d be a welcome end to SoCal’s slump. Here’s to hoping!
