Good story from The Berrics here, at a time when we need good stories more than ever. They found Elaine Shallcross, a 69-year-old Scottish woman diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago. But then the cancer returned last year. She hasn’t let things go further downhill. She’s lifting others up by learning to skate and raising funds for cancer research (check out her practice sessions). Her campaign has sorta gone viral with the hashtag, #shuvitcancer. And she’s raised the eyebrows of some iconic pros.
